Daddy, My Hero

It's red ribbon week at Aidan's school (just say no to drugs). Each day this week the kids have been wearing something different to school. They've had crazy hair day, pajama day, wear red day, etc. Today was dress like a hero day. So last night Aidan told me he wanted to dress up as his hero...Daddy! Of course I was happy to know that Dad is his hero, but wasn't sure how to dress him up since Jason wears jeans and a t-shirt most days. Fortunately Jason still had some of his orange shirts and hard hats from working on the job site with Layton Construction. Aidan was so excited to go to school this morning and he told me this afternoon that he wore that hard hat the whole day at school.

For Grandma in Chicago

I took these today for my mom who is serving a mission in Chicago and can't be here to rock her new Grandson Samuel. Love you Mom!

The Reasons

The question I get asked the most is "Why did you move back to Cache Valley from Kauai?" I have to remind myself of the reasons sometimes...like when I wake up to cold and thick fog in the valley. Well, here are just a few of the reasons we moved back to Cache Valley.

Grandpa Murray

Grandma Murray's Baths

Time with my SISTERS
Tony Grove... and cousins

Grandpa's Backyard Swing

Murray Family Potlucks

Tin Foil Dinners In Logan Canyon

Penny

Porcupine Dam
And Snakes...they don't have those in Hawaii

Spring Hollow Colors

A New Cousin...Cute Little Lena
Trips to Idaho to Get Sticky Gathering Pinenuts

And the snowboarding hasn't even begun yet.....

Back to School

The kids had to start school the morning after we arrived in Logan. Running to catch the bus

Aidan's school is close enough for him to ride his bike everyday....I got to ride with him for the first couple of days until he felt comfortable going alone.
